ROECKL RANTEN 2 Winter Cycling Gloves

The waterproof winter cycling gloves RANTEN 2 come with numerous performance features and functional materials. The permanently waterproof, highly breathable ROECK-TEX MEMBRANE is responsible for top performance in terms of weather protection, thermoregulation and comfort. The large silicone printed palm made of durable and water-repellent DURADERO WR synthetic suede provides good grip on the bars and sufficient sensitivity to operate shift and brake levers. The back of the hand is made from elastic, weatherproof ROECK-PROOF ATLAS material that follows every movement of your fingers and hands while cycling and keeps you reliably warm.
In terms of fit and robustness, the cycling gloves convince with a RAIL FINGER CUT with slightly pre-curved fingers. In addition, the gloves offer comfort features such as the seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION thumb bend padding and the ERGONOMIC CUT palm design with foam padding. A soft lining, the fleece thumb and the TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE function for operating your smartphone are further practical details. The elastic neoprene cuff with Velcro palm strap allows for a snug fit around the wrist and an ideal finish.

ROECK-TEX MEMBRANE:
This is a permanently waterproof and breathable membrane that is extremely comfortable to wear. Exclusively from Roeckl.

ROECK-PROOF ATLAS:
This is a 100% windproof, breathable, highly elastic, 3-layer softshell functional material made from 4-way stretch. It consists of 90 % polyester and 10 % elastane.
The TPU membrane has a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 3,500 g/m²/24 h water vapour permeability. The material also has a PFC-ZERO water-repellent finish. Exclusively from Roeckl.

PFC-ZERO:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent finish is free of PFC.

DURADERO WR:
This is a hard-wearing and pleasantly soft synthetic leather. Being soft, waterproof and robust, it offers good grip and durability.

ERGONOMIC CUT:
The sensitive nerves running through the carpus are subject to pressure in most hand positions when cycling. The ERGONOMIC CUT developed by ROECKL provides targeted relief for the sensitive hand nerves and thus effectively prevents pressure. The anatomic palm padding provides much more comfort on the handlebar.

RAIL FINGER CUT:
Slightly pre-shaped fingers where the material has been pulled over the fingertips to provide extra protection and also improve fit and durability.

SILICONE-GRIP:
Silicone coating for increased grip on the handlebar.

COMFORT INNOVATION:
For extra comfort, Roeckl has equipped the sensitive crook of the thumb, which is particularly stressed when cycling, with a seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION padding.

TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE:
Conductive applications enable practical operation of smartphones, smartwatches or bike computers without having to take off your gloves.
