ROECKL RIMBACH 2 Winter Cycling Gloves

Thin, elastic, tactile, windproof – that's the RIMBACH 2 from ROECKL SPORTS! This winter cycling glove is ideal for cycling in-between seasons and features the BI-FUSION comfort highlight on the palm. This padding made of soft gel and shape-retaining foam distributes pressure evenly over the entire palm and helps reduce hand fatigue – a much appreciated advantage, especially on long bike rides or rough trails.

The back of the hand is made from the windproof, water-resistant and highly breathable ROECK-PROOF ECO DENALI softshell material, an elastic 3-layer laminate.
On the palm of the cycling glove, the ECO.SENSE synthetic suede with ALL-WEATHER-GRIP silicone prints ensures a secure grip on the handlebars, both in dry and wet conditions. Other comfort features of the glove are its ERGONOMIC CUT, the seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION padding in the crook of the thumb, which is particularly stressed during cycling, and its all-round elastic cuff. It goes without saying that this cycling glove also comes with TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE function and a soft fleece wipe thumb.

Highlights & Technologies:

ROECK-PROOF ECO DENALI:
The windproof and water-repellent softshell 3-layer laminate is made from 87% recycled polyester and has been given a water-repellent finish without PFCs that are hard to degrade. As the outer fabric is made from 13% elastane, it offers high elasticity for perfectly fitting products. In addition, the material is highly breathable and has a smooth, soft touch front as well as a pleasantly warm, soft fleece on the back.

PFC-ZERO:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent finish is free of PFC.

ECO.SENSE:
Hard-wearing and particularly soft synthetic suede with a good grip, made from 92% polyester with 60% recycled content and 8% elastane.

ERGONOMIC CUT:
The sensitive nerves running through the carpus are subject to strong, punctual pressure in most hand positions when cycling. The ERGONOMIC CUT developed by ROECKL provides targeted relief for the sensitive hand nerves and thus effectively prevents pressure. The anatomic palm padding provides much more comfort on the handlebar.

BI-FUSION:
Thanks to the two-component padding consisting of gel and foam, the cycling gloves hug your hands and the handlebar ergonomically, but remain stable in their shape. The result is an excellent padding and a clear plus in terms of comfort. The damping technology distributes pressure and weight optimally and absorbs vibrations and shocks on rough grounds. The Bi-Fusion padding was Red Dot Winner 2021.

COMFORT INNOVATION:
For extra comfort, Roeckl has equipped the sensitive crook of the thumb, which is particularly stressed when cycling, with a seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION padding.

ALL-WEATHER-GRIP:
Highly functional palm design with silicone prints for outstanding grip in dry and wet conditions.

TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE:
Conductive applications enable practical operation of smartphones, smartwatches or bike computers without having to take off your gloves.
